    • Synopsis
    • The most expensive Serbian movie ever is a compelling fairytale quest
for true love against a backdrop of war, witchcraft and mythology.
With stunning cinematography, alluring locations, lush visual effects
and a magnificent score by Wong Kar Wai's regular composer
Shigeru Umebayashi (2046, Hannibal Rising), Uros Stanjovic recreates
a lost world where women have to get by without men. Just after the
Great War, two beautiful sisters inadvertently kill their village's sole surviving
male. The angry womenfolk put a curse on them: they must find
a man within three days or die. So begins their quest through the exotic
Serbian mountains. Lust, love, a hot-headed strongman and
Belgrade's lecherous dancehall king await them. Caught between
their burning passion and need to escape the curse, the two sister
reluctantly take their newfound loves back to their village where the
      women are getting impatient...
