- Synopsis
- In the wasteland that was America, tribes now rule. Where they don’t rule, the Spaces Between, undead and mutated "Hungered” roam free. Stain is a young arrogant assassin of The Sword Hold. His father is responsible for the fall of the world. Stain fights to regain honor but for all of the wrong reasons. His own glory. Though antisocial, his skills are undeniable. He leaves home to find glory. He is seen as a traitor to his Hold. Aura, a nomad, joins him as well as a cocky cowboy frienemy named Cole, despite him not wanting them to. Aura is drawn to Stain, but he sees her as weak and thus not worth his attention. They head to a trading station to find information. They are chased out of town and the group is saved by The Wanderer, a mysterious warrior who was long presumed to be dead. Eventually the party finds the group responsible for the desolation of the world and engages them in battle. Everyone heads their separate ways and vows to turn the tide against the undead.
