A man called Mihael (30) and his five-year old daughter Alisa go to Moscow to visit Mihael’s wife, Anastazija (26), who went there to give birth to a “surrogate child”. During their ten-day stay in the clinic-owned apartment, their intimate marital life is “unveiled”.

- Synopsis
- A man called Mihael (30), nicknamed Misha, travels from Nizhny Novgorod Oblast to Moscow together with his five-year-old daughter Alisa in order to visit his wife Anastazija, who is living in a clinic-owned apartment building as a “surrogate mother”. Misha and Alisa spend around ten days hanging out with her mother in a tense situation waiting for puerperal labor. Mihael and Alisa help mother in the household, go for short walks in the park and sightseeing in the city, during which we discover their characters, mutual relationships and the reasons for enrolling in the surrogate motherhood program. When Anastazija goes into expected labor, the doctors take her to the clinic to give birth. Mihael and Alisa accompany her, waiting in the hall for the outcome of childbirth. When the nurse informs them that the birth went well, they will both go briefly see the mother, who will have to rest. The following day they will visit Anastazija and gradually prepare for going home. When the mother recuperates, they will all say farewell to the chief of the clinic, giving her back the key to the apartment and then taking a cab to the train station.
