Ireland 1950’s: a young medical student with a head full of Yeats returns to his home on the rugged Kerry coast where he comes across a mysterious girl. After a series of tense encounters an injury to the girl's dog brings them closer together. They become lovers but their dream is shattered as Jonathan’s father sets out to destroy his son’s desire to live a life with this strange girl. But an even greater threat is from the locals and fishermen hunting. Not just for the seals but for the girl. After all, she’s not really human; she’s a changeling; autistic.
