    • Synopsis
    • The documentary accompanies during an entire school year a group of 4th graders that attend Vicente Forestieri School, in the outlying district of Villa El Libertador in the city of Córdoba (Argentina). Observation and interview are used to inquire into the way these children experience and understand the patriotic and cultural events held annually at the institution.
The presence of children coming from immigrant families triggers questions about the school's social mandate as regards the constuction of the nation. Likewise, it's the very infancy the one that poses questions about the procedures carried out in order to educate national subjects. The film portrays the children's experience and takes on their relationship with the school events, the national anthem, the flag, the mother country, the world and the borders.
