    • Synopsis
    • Sang-woo, a former national swimmer, works at an aquarium and he’s happy as he cares about fishes and sea animals. Sun-mi is a perfumer and she’s broken hearted of recent breakup. When Sun-mi is drunk and about to tip over on the river bank, Sang-woo happens to save her from falling. Embarrassed, Sun-mi runs away and Sang-woo finds her music box, which Sun-mi has cherished most as her deceased father’s last hand-craft, on the bench where she was sitting. In order to return the music box to her, Sang-woo visits her laboratory where she makes perfumes. As a token of her gratitude, Sun-mi makes special perfume for Sang-woo whose scent reminds her of snowy sea. Slowly, they find themselves attracted to each other. However, born with myelodysplastic syndrome, Sun-mi has been facing with progressive bone marrow failure. Even after realizing Sun-mi’s illness, Sang-woo becomes more serious about their relationship and devotes himself to take care of her. Despite of his parents’ disapproval, since their daughter and Sang-woo’s sister died young of terminal illness, he determines to marry her. But, their newly wed happiness doesn’t last long as Sun-mi’s symptom becomes progressively worse. Sang-woo’s parents research the way to save his son’s wife and find the right donor for bone marrow transplant in Japan. And, with full of hope, they leave for Japan for the transplant...
