    • Synopsis
    • In 1939, a ship left the French port of Sete with 1800 Spanish Republican exiles destined for Mexico. Through the testimony of several people who were there, we relive those events. In parallel, we sail the route once again, this time on a ship holding containers that, as though they were boxes of memories, symbolize the recollections of those times. The routine on the voyage with the inanimate presence of the containers contrasts with that of the Sinaia in 1939. What is now just another element in a globalized market, at that time was an idealistic gesture attempting to save people and ideas.
