Shadow Of The Ibis is a mind-bending conspiracy thriller about Mark – an expert in bio-chemistry who accidentally gets entangled in the web of conspiracies causing series of mysterious deaths, orchestrated by secret organisations whose plan is to commit planned mass murder. While working as a low-profile bio-chemistry analyst in city’s water purification plant, Mark is asked by his aunt to analyze samples of drinking water which caused his father’s rapidly progressing illness. As soon as Mark gets water into his laboratory - his simple life becomes immensely complicated. While his entire family and set of closest friends are either dying or missing under mysterious circumstances, the rest of them start behaving incredibly strange towards Mark. His aunt is gone missing and after he looses his father to unknown the disease, Mark is drawn into a series of events well beyond his control and understanding. In order to survive the deadly game he became part of - he has to figure out not only who are the players, and what the game is about, but who is actually on his side and who is against him. A few strange clues lead Mark to learn the history of mass-murder conspiracies – from Ancient Egypt via the Medieval Plague to the recent outbreak of a deadly disease in his city. When he finally manages to make analysis of the water that caused death of his father, Mark realizes that it contains a 3000 years old virus – the most ancient weapon of mass destruction.
