Véra BELMONT (STEPHAN FILMS), - - (LEFT FIELD VENTURES)
Synopsis
Michel grew up in Belgium as part of an outwardly ordinary Jewish family. His father Henri never mention his dark past, so Michel and his brother Charly invent one for him as an adventurer. The broadcast of the Eichmann trial in 1961 stirs painful memories in Henri of his time in the camps, and from then on he devotes his time to bearing witness to the reality of the Holocaust. He becomes so obsessed by this mission that he is scarcely affected by Charly's tragic death, which in turn drives a wedge between Henri and Michel. Many years later, father and son finally manage to communicate, embarking on a journey that will help dispel some of the misunderstanding.
