    • Julia Phillips (late 20s) is this artistic and talented Designer who really can’t see beyond the painful loss of her sweetheart and has drowned herself in work and lost all sense of family since his passing. Christophe in his (30s) is this suave, sophisticated French-American Hotel Heir, desperately tries to prove himself as more than just a irresponsible womaniser, he’s determined to change his life around after learning he’s a father.

      Julia is head hunted to renovate the Augustine Hotel a dream job of a lifetime but she's reluctant to take it at first because one of the owners, Christophe Augustine, is also a design and construct competitor.

      From the moment they begin renovations Christophe challenges Julia’s design decisions which irritates her continuously. He is a risk taker and she is more reserved in her process. But as he challenges her, she learns to take more risks in design which produces her best work.

      Julia thrives on perfecting work because that is what she can control, where on the other hand she couldn’t keeping her sweetheart Carlos in her life.

      The friction between them is further fuelled by their growing attraction. As they fall in love. Julia is faced with letting go of her late husband and embracing a new relationship with Christophe who is just stepping up into being the man he needs to be for his son.

      As Christophe grows, taking responsibility in his life it becomes apparent just how much he values family. Julia senses his quality and is immediately fearful how much she is falling for him. The emotional heartache of of losing her sweetheart still so raw. She likes control and love is not something she can control. Julia's fear pushes him away. She's not prepared for another heartbreak. So before they have even begun she lets him go. She only wanted the temporary not the forever after which Christophe is determined to have. He is furious with her when she breaks it off and understands it's her fear that has driven a wedge between them.

      Apart, they are miserable. She realises that Christophe is the man for her because he challenges her to be the best she can be. When she attempts to get back together with him, he refuses to let her in his life so easily with his son requiring stability. She must prove to him she's a stayer and take a second chance at love before it's too late.
