- From January to March of 2002, the TV drama, Kisarazu Cat’s Eye, first appeared on Japanese television to weak ratings but soon grew to cult status amongst devoted fans. The series was then followed in November by a national release of a full-length feature movie. Kisarazu Cat’s Eye: Go Major! attracted over 1.2 million fans and earned 15 million dollars nationwide. The DVD version of the feature then sold over 300,000 copies. Now, three years later, the saga continues with Kisarazu Cat’s Eye: World Series.
  The Cat's Eye gang are up to their usual antics again in this intense coming-of-age drama. Unique to this film is its time-bending narrative style which through twists and turns accelerates to the final inning...and the ultimate epilogue.
