    • Synopsis
    • The movie explores Production designer Jorge Saudiansky's particular outlook and work. He left his mark in Argentine art and culture, beginning with the 60's avant-garde until his death, in 2009.

As an unclassifiable and versatile Production designer, architect, scenographer, graphic designer, publicist, Saru challenged the solemnity of the world of art through his unprejudiced, disrespectful, unexpected and brilliant interventions.

His work is present in the avant-garde theater of Gambaro, Ure, Alfaro or Villanueva; of the Di Tella Institute; in the movies by Berlanga, Khun, de la Torre, Puenzo, Bemberg, Doria and Becchis, among others. In the innovative graphic designs he made for the CGT de los Argentinos, together with Rodolfo Walsh; in book covers published by Jorge Alvarez's publishing house; in indelible brand logos that live on in the collective memory, and in dozens of publicities.

Directed by Ale Isler, a disciple of the movie's protagonist, who filmed him during the las years of his life, when he was alredy ill, the story develops starting with animations, retroprojections and scale models that reconstruct Saru's universe and allow us to be present in his intimacy, when he comes to terms with his work, while he goes again over fragments of his famous films or reflects over his work, his time and what his friends and colleagues say about him. To share there moments with such a clearheaded and relentless creator is one of the pleasures we can extract from this documentary. This is a film about the love for one´s craft.
