    • Synopsis
    • Early 1930's.Spanish Flamenco dancer ("bailaor") Vicente Escudero is convinced that "flamenco" has its origins and roots in the music of the gypsies of Rajasthan. With the Indian Ballet company of his friend Uday Shankar he travels to Rajasthan to confirm his theroriy.
      Tehy meet gypsy girl Kala, and around the young beauty both men wave their musical and personal fantasies.
      Ravi Shankar, the fourteen year old brother of Uday, and the youngest dancer in his brother's company, discovers at the same time his love for the sitar and has with Kala his first love experience.
