    • Synopsis
    • An urban British film based on true events in the Notting Hill area of London from the late 1970's to the 1990's. The story is set on the All Saints Road, which is one the main streets of the Notting Hill carnival, the biggest street carnival in Europe, which attracts over 2 million people. All Saints road has a history of controversial events going back to the 1958 Notting Hill race riots between Black immigrants, Teddy Boys, and the Police. In later years the road attracted numerous celebrities such as John Lennon, Diana Ross and the Supremes, Jimi Hendrix, Muhammed Ali, Bob Marley, Mike Tyson and Marvin Gaye just to name a few,. In the 1970's it became a no go road where all night gambling, dancing, drinking and the selling of cannabis was allowed to flourish as long as it stayed on the road and not spread further. The film follows the life of Frank Skully, once regarded as public enemy no.1 after his release from a maximum security prison to see that the road that he once reigned had vanished and been replaced by a new Notting Hill, and his reflections back to bygone years and the heydays of the All Saints Road.
