    • Synopsis
    • Paulo Gale is a black man who doesn’t have a defined career, but have found a way to survive selling trinkets in the hurried traffic of Rio de Janeiro. He glimpses the opportunity to, as a football manager, change his life. Going through the suburbs of Rio, Gale discovers Glanderson, a black boy with an outstanding talent for soccer who, like many others, dream of being a professional soccer player, but never had the opportunity. Glanderson has a remarkable physical feature: the boy only has three toes in his right foot. Gale believes in the talent of the young kid and is committed to leverage his career. By improvising trainings, venturing contacts, and designing projects, Gale exposes his entrepreneurial character and his creativity. The misunderstandings and stumbling of this quixotic duo bring a comic bias to the story, portraying, on the extreme, the daily reality of many brazilians, who, between difficulties and dreams, are only trying to do the best for their families. Following Gale and Glanderson’s journey, the public will have the opportunity to know aspects of life on the periphery of Brazilian state capitals, a little more about the people who live there, their conflicts and their dreams. The identification with the duo and the grace of their mishaps, often involuntary, are trumps that make the work of public interest.
