    • Synopsis
    • Susan Stavrou, a professor of Diaspora Cinema flies from Boston to her first homeland Greece, to see her ailing mother (whom she haven’t seen in fifteen years) and take her to America to look after her.

An’s health worsens and Suzan makes what she thinks will be a quick trip to Mani to bring her back with her. The trip turns into a lengthy stay and during this time Mark gets a first-time visit from his teenage daughter, Marina, who lives with her overly protective mother in London.

Will An go to the U.S.? Will Suzan finally come back to Mani to live? These are the obvious two questions which form the structure of our story. But as Suzan’s journey to Mani and her stay at the bungalows takes us through family history and modern life, two underlying and perhaps more noteworthy questions strung throughout the story arise: what connects us to people, and keeps us connected?
