    • Synopsis
    • It is the story of a life path how a man makes personal, professional, ethical and political choices which appear absolutely coherent, to the point that he becomes “the irresistible Mr. Baby”. He is a man who personifies, in the conception and birth of societal choices, an image of the maternity clinic and its scientific exigencies. It is the story of a pioneer, and at the same time, it is a collective story, that of the teams who have worked, like him, at the maternity ward of the Antoine Béclère Hospital in Clamart.
It is the story of a man who since his own conception has led numerous battles, for women’s rights, for mothers and their desire to give birth, for medically assisted reproduction, for cellular medicine. He is a man who loves confrontations of ideas and projects, who loves to become involved, because
      that is what drives him.
It is the story of a man who loves to help giving birth, who loves to save life, or make it possible, and who is “reborn” with every pregnancy brought to term, often after multiple detours.
It is the story of an impatient, busy man, who is always in motion, who has a thousand projects to complete and a thousand lives to live. And who speaks. “I am, he says, a doctor of modern times, I will admit no fatality, I defy the
infinitesimal, I believe in the laws of desire, but the child who comes is not the fruit of our science, he remains an enigma. He is sacred. If we forget him, we make life itself commonplace.»
