    • Synopsis
    • During the early years of the Republican era, in the north-eastern region of China, people were suffering from the power struggle amongst the bandits, local warlords, and Japanese invaders.
The only paradise within this war-torn region was Lucky Star Town, the only place where no one had dared to attack, for whoever attempted to invade Lucky Star Town would vanish without a trace. In reality, seven retired KungFu masters had resided in this town. They were Manysons (Eric Tsang), the babysitter; Madonna (Sandra Ng) and Mademoiselle Hong (Xie Na), the restaurant owners; Chanting Bing (Yuen Wah), the Taoist priest; Little Tailor (Wong Cho Lam), the tailor; Little Trumpet (Ronald Cheng), the cosmetics salesman; and Manuelle (Natalie Meng), the brothel owner. Each of them had his own specialized martial art skills. Together, they maintained the peacefulness of the Town.
Warlord Lin (Sammo Hung) was a patriot who cared about his country. Despite several solicitation attempts from the Japanese, Lin stood firmly in his own beliefs. Lin’s daughter, Cheryl (Kimmy Tong), was gorgeous and cheerful and was much favoured by the KungFu masters. Little Tailor even regarded her as his dream lover.
Japanese special agent Kurosawa Kiyoko (Jo Kuk) had conspired with the bandits from Tiger Den, who used Tiger Den as an intelligence outpost to send secret-coded messages back to Japan. Young Chinese patriots, Janice (Rose Chan), who disguised herself as a man, and Howard Luo (Dennis To), infiltrated Tiger Den trying to steal the Japanese agent name list. Cornered by the bandits and Kiyoko, Howard sacrificed his life to save the injured Janice.
While on the run, Janice was rescued by Cheryl. Meanwhile, Lin met Kiyoko who disguised herself as a charming young woman, Nie Wushuang (Jo Kuk) resembling Lin’s late wife to seduce Lin and controlled his will. Cheryl managed to flee to Lucky Star Town and begged the KungFu Masters to save her father. The Seven KungFu Masters, together with Janice, Cheryl and Howard’s brother, Tony Luo (Philip Ng), set out for Tiger Den...
