- Synopsis
- 1939. During the Second World War, Rebekah leaves Poland together with her son Joseph, to escape Nazism. She disembarks in Rio de Janeiro to find her husband. Rebekah calls attention for her beauty and ends up in a trap designed by Tzvi, a pimp of the time, who, with the help of his henchman Isaac, kidnaps Joseph to force her into prostitution. Separated from her son, Rebekah spends her days in the brothel hoping to have him back. One day, she meets the journalist Marcos, who falls in love with her and becomes her ally, as he also wants revenge on Tzvi, the same man who destroyed his mother's life. Rebecca will need intelligence and courage to report her master, destroy a network of prostitution, and preserve her son's life.
