- PLANT LIFE is a mixed live-action/CGI family adventure that transports audiences into the secret world of sentient plants.
  Love is hard enough for us humans to understand. So what chance does a plant have of figuring it out - especially if that plant is the first plant to ever fall in love?
  Spike is a happy-go-lucky, common thistle. After years of watching daily life in a small, Norman Rockwell-esque town from the windowsill of the local plant store, he suddenly finds himself in unfamiliar territory when he falls head-over-heels in love for a beautiful and rare orchid, NATALYA. Unfortunately for Spike, Natalya wants nothing to do with him, much less his crazy notion of love.
  LILY SHAY is the human owner of The Lily Pad plant store. She doesn’t want anything to do with love either, yet, that doesn’t stop her from giving advice on the subject to her friends - especially her best friend David.
  When Lily is charged with caring for the rare and valuable Natalya by curmudgeonly widower, MR. NICHOLS, she has no idea that both she and Spike are about to become embroiled in a plot to kidnap Natalya and hold the beautiful orchid to ransom.
  When Spike overhears the kidnapper’s plans, he is compelled to take action and rebels against all plant rules including the most sacred rule of all - talking to humans! And so Spike, with Lily’s help sets out on a crazy adventure to rescue Natalya from the evil ‘plantnappers’.
  However, Spike’s heroic actions cause the kidnappers to realise they stand to make even more money if they expose his ability to talk. Spike now faces a terrible dilemma – should he risk the whole future of the plant world to save the love of his life?
  Rallied in the name of love, a heroic team of hilarious and eccentric plant characters join Spike and Lily on a mission-impossible, fantastic adventure to thwart the villains and maintain the plant world’s best kept secret.
  The plants learn together with Lily and David, that although the wonderful journey of love can be frustratingly difficult to understand, it is always rewarding.
