    • Synopsis
    • In PATHS OF LIFE, three people look back on their lives and give insights into how they have dealt with life crises and what visions they have developed from them. At the same time, through the story of Percival, a philosopher, artist and therapist shows drug addicted teenagers a symbolic way out of failure into life in order to come back into resonance with themselves and the world.

What abilities can people develop when they - following their call - leave the familiar behind and embark on their journey into the unknown? Does this enable them to free themselves from stressful situations, patterns of thought and action and to find their inner self in an increasingly complex world? Can individual transformation processes also unfold social effects and provide answers to the challenges of major changes and life transitions?

Due to a serious incident, Marcus Pan (AT/CH) had to leave his home and family in the Salzkammergut/Austria as a young man and came to Switzerland with a duffel bag full of clothes and books, where he had to rebuild his life. He pursued a vision, namely the creation of an international permaculture academy, which he is currently building up close to Lake Zurich.

Aviva Gold (US), 80, developed the method "Painting from the Source" after a serious personal crisis as a way to regain access to her own creative power. Today she encourages others to embark on what Joseph Campbell calls the "Hero's Journey" in the process of transformation - painting a picture.

Alexander Lauterwasser (DE), 65, researches resonance as a philosopher and artist and creates impressive water sound images in his laboratory that have brought him wide international recognition. At the same time he works as a therapist with young drug patients.

As a young woman, Sólveig Jónsdóttir (IS) was an internationally successful photo model. She grew up in Iceland together with her older sister in a middle-class family. While working as a model abroad, she learned of the unexpected death of her schizophrenic sister, which caused her to abandon her modeling career.
