Two Ecuadorian former high school classmates have a chance encounter in Panama in 1985. Esteban works as a banker and is there for business. Jose Luis presents himself as a journalist, but is really in the guerrilla, living clandestinely while preparing the kidnapping of a banker in Ecuador.

- Synopsis
- Two Ecuadorian twenty-six year olds, former high school classmates, run into each other by coincidence in Panama City in 1985. They haven’t seen each other since their graduation and, although quite close at that time, have followed opposite paths: Esteban works as a banker in Ecuador and is there for business, not always legitimate. Jose Luis presents himself as a journalist, but is really a member of guerrilla group Alfaro Vive Carajo, living clandestinely while preparing a new action in Ecuador: the kidnapping of a banker. Inspired on a true story.
