    • May 1956, in Palestro, a small colonial village in the foothill of Great Kabylia, 20 French soldiers died in an ambush organized by the members of the Algerian resistance. (FLN)
      The film goes on both sides of the Mediterranean Sea to understand violence which has marked the colonial history. It receives testimonies from both French and Algerian sides to highlight relationship between the two countries.
