- Synopsis
- Juan and Pedro are illegal Mexican immigrants sharing a ride to New York. Pedro hopes to find his father, a wealthy restaurant owner. He keeps the address in a sealed letter given to him by his dying mother, but on arrival, Pedro wakes to find his letter was stolen. Juan shows up at the father’s place with the letter, claiming to be his son. The man turns out to be a miserly dishwasher who stashes all his money away. Juan soon starts looking for the hidden money. The closer he gets to finding it, the closer Pedro gets to finding his father.
