    • Synopsis
    • The Operations Theater is a film about the initiation of an apprentice surgeon in the operating room. To follow the different stages of his initiation is to discover a strange and foreign world in which the ordinary citizen is only passing. The block is a microcosm nestled in the heart of the hospital machine where surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, nurses are working every day to repair lives. Stories written here depict death, the ingenuity of man, ambitions, pettiness, generosity, fear and black humor. In block, things of life are constantly at stake. While describing the daily life of the novice, this film highlights the various human, social, scientific and economic intertwine or collide in the "operating theater".
