    • The two always ghting brothers execute their parents’ last will to travel to Corsica and pour their ashes into the sea. At the Italian
boarder, however, their car gets stolen with the ashes in it. The journey of memories turns into a road movie during which the two men
need to learn to depend on one another and eventually their parents’ real will comes true: the brothers start to care for each other.
William and Matthew White have never got on well . Their childhood was all about jelousy, their teenages about non stop bullying each
other. No wonder that by the time they grew up their relationship had ended in a feud. In order to do his phd William went straight to
Canada after university, where he settled down far from the family. Matthew got married at a young age, and soon he had children too.
They are both petried by the idea of travelling together to Corsica. However, none of them dares to ignore their parents’ last will.
The journey seems to be doomed from the very rst minute. William, still struggling with a jetlag, would run away to his work to avoid
any contact with his brother. As for Matthew, after leaving his ideal family, he turns into a womanizer and would like to have all the things
he has had to give up for so many years. The brothers keep picking on each other childishly as they used to and they only focus on teasing
one another. They only get back to reality when their car with the ashes gets stolen at the Italian-French border. With the help of an Italian
police woman they run after the stolen car getting into more and more troubles. Finally, sailing on a boat to the island in a huge storm,
they are turned into the sea together with the ashes close to the shores eventually accomplishing their mission even if that’s not the way
      the parents might have wanted.
By the end of the journey, William falls in love with the Italian police woman, while Mathhew realizes how much he loves his family. But
above all the brothers will never feel to be an only child again.
The bitter sweet comedy is based on personal experience.
