- Olentzero, (our Santa Claus of the Pyrenees) is making last-minute preparations, checking that all the Christmas presents will arrive on time for all the children of the valley. He controls a magic log, through which he checks whether the children are behaving and an endless source of power.
  When he is about to leave his shed, he realizes that the log has disappeared and he very much fears that it may have fallen in evil hands. Recently an immoral businessman has come to the valley, and he is planning to cut the forest down and build a ski resort…
  Devoid of his powers, he will need the help of Anjé, a young coal-maker, if he wants the valley to recover harmony and peace again during Christmas time.
