    • Normalityville is a lone island state controlled by dictatorial President Taranis who murdered his father to become leader. It's Citizens have their careers determined and birth and are educated to that level, no more. Most work in factories making the very products they will then buy. Castor is one such worker.
In a loveless Union with Bandi - who mentors a young pregnant girl called Sakara - Castor is wrongly convicted of a plot to overthrow the government and is sent into exile, Underground. There is no ruler Underground and the occupants are near starvation.
Castor soon meets Thane (a robot with a desire to become human), Joshua and Caden. It is these three who have been plotting a revolution and, after a revelation that Castor's father was killed by Taranis, it is enough to tip him over the edge and join. Joshua reveals that he is the brother of Taranis and is the rightful president.
The revolution is a disaster. Someone has tipped off the authorities and most revolutionaries are shot then their bodies burned. Castor gets injured, rescued by Joshua and Thane. However, they get cornered so Thane sacrifices himself so the others may make their escape.
Castor is ultimately captured and sentenced to die. At this moment he learns that his wife has feelings for Taranis which she expresses by killing Sakara at his will. Castor's sense of betrayal deepens further when he learns that his executioner is Caden, who was the double agent that warned the authorities of the revolution. Caden is saved at the last moment by Joshua, backed by soldiers who learn of Taranis' murderous rise to power.
Castor gets away but Joshua isn't so lucky, killed by Taranis who then escapes himself. Castor is named the new president of Normalityville, but the betrayal and turmoil has turned him. Will he simply be Taranis mark 2?
