    • Synopsis
    • Niño is the story of a family entangled by greed. Gaspar, head of the Lopez-Aranda family, is a retired politician who loves music. His cousin Celia now lives with him at his mercy, though she was once a renowned opera singer. Gaspar’s daughter Raquel comes home from the United States and is waiting to sell the great mansion once Gaspar dies. Under threat of homelessness, Celia and her family are at their wit’s end. Yet amid all this, Celia’s incompetent son Mombic pursues an inappropriate relationship with Raquel in the hopes of reaping the spoils. While everyone looks out for their own interests, only Mombic’s young son Antony is as innocent as the holy child: Nino.
Celia performs arias with her fellow opera singers in the hopes of bringing Gaspar out of his coma. Beautiful music fills the beautiful house, but its residents are far from it. Each is jealous of the other.
