    • Synopsis

    • The Akimoto-gumi has far too strong a sense of the old-school yakuza values of duty and humanity, and they simply cannot ignore people who are in trouble. Their boss (played by Toshiyuki Nishida) is a sucker when it comes to philanthropy, and he ends up taking on one dangerous project after another. This time it’s to put a failing high school back on its feet. The Akimoto-gumi Number 2, Himura (played by Hidetoshi Nishijima), is always at the mercy of the boss’ whims, and he’s not at all keen on the idea because he has nothing but bad memories of his schooldays.
      However, “what the boss says goes” so he has no choice but to head for the school, his underlings in tow. What they find there are a bunch of the apathetic students so typical of today and teachers who just want to keep their heads down and avoid any trouble.
