    • Nine Poems in Basilicata is the poetry film based on nine different poems written and performed by the great american/italian poet John Giorno.
      Nine poems, nine locations. The film is entirely shot in Basilicata, the small and wonderful region in south of Italy from where John’s relatives emigrated towards New York City (USA).
      It is the memorable synthesis of 50 years of John Giorno’s luminous career.
      It was screened in numerous festivals, galleries and museums all over the world (Rome, Berlin, Marseille, Madrid, Paris, Monfalcone, Buenos Aires, Amsterdam, New York…) obtaining prestigiouses awards like the Zebra Poetry Film Award Berlin from the Federal Agency for Civic Education as “best film, best poem and best politics” and deserving the rank of “cult movie” from the critic.
