- Nihonjin tells the story of Noboru, a descendant of Japanese immigrants and his relationship with the Japanese culture, through conversations with his grandfather. Hideo tells his grandson about his journey that starts with the decision to immigrate from Japan to Brazil and in this narrative the two of them overcome the distance that existed between them.
