    • Synopsis
    • New York City Serenade. Freddie Prinze Jr., Chris Klein and Jamie-Lynn Sigler shine in this very New York coming of age story about two boyhood friends trying to figure out how to function in the real world. Owen (Prinze Jr.), an aspiring film maker, spirals after his fiance Lynn (Sigler) breaks off their engagement, and finds himself back as a bachelor spending way too much time with his best friend Ray (Klein), an ersatz playboy and wannabe rock star. Together they set off on a trip to a far flung film festival with life changing consequences for them both. Writer and director Frank Whaley has created a rare look at the deep bonds between men, based on his own coming of age in New York with friends Ethan Hawke and Robert Sean Leonard. The film premiered to an enthusiastic response at the 2007 Toronto Film Festival.
