- Synopsis
- In an imaginary shore merchant city resembling Beirut in the future, Adham, a 24 year old graduate of both journalism and theater, struggles to keep his life in order as it splits into three parallel strands. He is made president of his parents’ newspaper, after having won his first lead role in a movie inspired by a revolution manipulated by anti-pandemic martial law, and a gang member in one of the city’s post-revolution gangs. Adham’s life reaches ultimate turmoil as he attempts to juggle these parallel lives while keeping his whereabouts and sometimes his identity hidden from the people involved. As he develops feelings for the leader of his gang, Adham’s goals are redefined. He cannot seem to escape becoming a tool for political sides as the city witnesses a sudden post-pandemic presidential election.
