- Synopsis
- The documentary series ‘Natural and Human Treasures’ explores the deep connections between the rural environment, its people, the mountains and the life they sustain. The project seeks to highlight the relationship between people, the natural environment and the biodiversity that characterises Europe's mountain regions. Through a visual and emotional journey, the series highlights the environmental challenges faced by local communities, the role of mountains as guardians of culture and how ecosystems are constantly changing due to human action and climate.
