    • A true story of Nagamasa Yamada, a vagabond Samurai, who ran from his own tragedy in Japan to a faraway land, Ayutthaya, the old capital of Siam.

      With his swordsmanship skills, Nagamasa supported King Songtham as a leader of 800 Japanese warriors and fought in several battles for the King. Due to the jealousy of his friend, King Prasat Thong, Nagamasa and his son were sent faraway from Ayutthaya for a battle in the south of Siam. He later became the ruler of Nakhon Sri Thammarat, a Siam southern city,

      Nagamasa and his son “O-in”, made a twin sword and named it the “Maha-Arthiti sword” which became a legendary story and was used in several battles.

      At the battle to conquer Pattani, Nagamasa got severely injured. His death was not from the fight, but by betrayal from his friend, King Prasat Thong who poisoned him. O-in was furious and he announced his independence from Ayutthaya and made himself the first Japanese ruler in Siam in Nakorn Sri Thammarat.

      Thereafter, there were several instances of civil unrest in the south. O-In commanded troops to burn down of Nakhon Sri Thammarat and then fled with his loyal army to Cambodia. Since then, the legendary twin sword has never been found.
