    • Synopsis
    • Featuring Ukraine’s Golden Dziga and Kinokolo Winner Irma Vitovska-Vantsa (“Brama,” “The Secret Diary of Symon Petliura”) and introducing Andriy Lidagovskiy (“It was Showering in Manchester”), “My Thoughts Are Silent” is the story of Twenty-five-year-old musician and sound engineer Vadym whom earns a living recording and selling all sorts of wildly different sounds; nevertheless, he’d rather exchange his life in Kyiv for a better future in far-flung Canada producing trap records; when he gets a generous job offer which might help him realize his dream, he jumps at the chance; he soon sets off to capture the sounds of animals indigenous to Ukraine and also a rare bird found in the Carpathians the ‘Rakhiv’ mallard. The situation proves tragicomic when Vadym’s companion on the trip turns out to be… his estranged mother.
