Madrid, late 70’s. A car flies down the city streets at alarming speeds with apparently no driver. But from the front window appears the silhouette of Juan Carlos, a 7-year-old boy with unusual driving skills. He’s the most wanted car thief in Spain – and still a child. His worried parents try to separate him from his petty thief friends, but Juan Carlos won’t be stopped by rules or limits. His world is turned upside down when he’s arrested and taken to “The City of Boys,” a reform centre for young criminals run by Uncle Alberto, the only person who still sees the child in Juan Carlos and can fill his life with new challenges and hope.
