- Synopsis
- A tranquil summer day the Moomin Valley is interrupted by a volcanic eruption followed by an overflow. Water rises higher and higher, but just in time the Moomin family and all their friends get away to a strange house that floats to their rescue; a drifting theatre, also home of theatre-loving Emma. Inspired of the theatre Moominpappa wants to write a play and somewhat reluctantly Emma agrees to help him with the production.
