- A mother-daughter road trip down memory lane turns into a nightmarish fight for survival as Izzy teams up with an oddball group of former summer-camp misfits to confront MISTER SANDMAN, the author of their greatest fears. Together they must overcome a shared childhood trauma and defeat the frightening fallacies and phantasms of Sandman’s dark design. In what becomes a dream-like battle for their very souls, the monster is finally destroyed. But despite her newfound friends’ relief, Izzy still can’t tell where the nightmares end and her waking life begins.
