    • Synopsis
    • Medea is expelled from the mining region and is given just one day to disappear. But in that single day, she comes up with a plan for revenge. In order to carry out this plan, Medea invokes her innermost strength, summoning the power of the female sex. She resorts to the depths of the mines, where female miners bear witness to her feminist discourse, for these women who live a miserable life of confinement and oppression. Medea is one of these mining women too, except she is mining towards the center of her own vein and identity, where a myriad of minerals make her into a precious and dangerous stone.
