    • Synopsis
    • Originated in the nineteenth century in the context of war, the martial rhythm of maya pax, a musical prayer that became the popular religion of today is heard at shrines and mayan churches.
      Along with the Kayum and polyphonic singing, violin chords and the beat of the drums that over 150 years have accompanied the mayas in their interpretation of the sacred.
