- Synopsis
- Gaspar is an expert on Emilio Vega, a painter disappeared fifty years earlier and whose work has been the object of constant forgeries on the art market. As Gaspar delves into the life of Vega for a biography he is researching, the painter's own story unfolds in parallel to the present. A growing divide separates the facts of Vega's existence from Gaspar's understanding of it. Trouble ensues when a mysterious elderly man, Cabrera, appears on the scene, claiming to have been a friend of Vega in his youth and bringing striking revelations.
