    • Synopsis
    • BUNNY CONROY, 40, a middle-class housewife and former synchronized swimmer from Akron, Ohio, has never set foot outside her state, let alone the US. She relies on a steady mix of Mai Tai cocktails and whodunit mystery novels to provide some colour to her routine life and monotonous marriage. So when her husband JARRETT takes her for a surprise holiday to Sabah, Malaysia she is thrilled at the prospect of rekindling their romance in a new and exotic land. Unfortunately for Bunny, 10,000 miles don’t change much, and she is now drinking Mai Tai’s alone at the pool bar of the hotel instead of on her couch back home. However, she befriends a good-looking and amorous bartender, GIN, who shares the same passion for murder mystery novels, and better still, after witnessing the wheelchair-bound gentleman from the neighbouring suite plunge to his death from a cliff, the two find themselves increasingly drawn into a network of events as dire and dangerous as any in their favourite fiction. Soon Bunny is matching wits with a beautiful villainess who’s entrapped Jarrett into her nefarious plans...
