    • Synopsis
    • Luisa is a solitary woman who has suffered a traumatic episode in the past. As a consequence, her personality, her way of seeing the world and of establishing relationships are very particular. Her only company is a cat, Tino. Luisa has been employed for thirty years at the Soul’s Rest cemetery, and also works on and off for an entertainment star, Mrs. Gonzalez.
One day, suddenly, Tino dies. Also suddenly Luisa loses both jobs. For a special reason she decides adamantly to incinerate her cat and to be present at the ceremony. For that purpose, and until she is able to save the necessary money, she decides to place Tino in a freezer. A turn of fate makes Luisa take a subway. There she discovers not only a world that was totally alien to her, but the place that offers the opportunity to collect the money to incinerate her cat.
Beginning with Jose, the superintendent of the building who is connected to Luisa’s past, to Horacio, the man on crutches in a corner of the subway, the characters will help her realize she is not so alone, and in the face of misfortune will bring to the surface nobleness, humour, tolerance and solidarity.
Luisa understands that in spite of her suffering and in the face of what she dreaded, she is not alone in life.
