    • Synopsis
    • Living in an Indian-dominated London Suburb, a bastion of conservatism and gossip, the Mohindar family can't help but stand out. But parents, Arvind and Shalu happily embrace their three unconventional children - hypersensitive oldest son, Ravi, about to marry a Yorkshire blond;hopelessly romantic Manav, in love with his manchester boyfriend, Ash; and Sabrina, pudgy, dark, and harboring dreams of being the next J. Lo.
For twenty-five years, Arvind has owned his own wedding store, where all the Indians of the community shop for their children's weddings. But suddenly a rival store opens, owned by the town's Indian version of the Godfather, who campaigns on hisown three sons' traditional Indian weddings versus Arvind's zero. Now Arvind has to have his own proper wedding soon or lose his business. Only Arvind has a problem - the invites are already out for Ravi's church ceremony and Manav is about to propose to boyfriend Ash for what promises to be a most unconventional wedding...
