Leone is the perfect boyfriend: kind, polite, respectful, top of his class in school, and now excelling in his Philosophy degree. Carola’s parents adore him, convinced that their daughter has finally left behind the semi-criminal Manuel she used to date and is now with someone serious. However, the reality is quite different: Leone is only pretending to be Carola’s boyfriend so she can con- tinue seeing Manuel without her parents finding out. It’s because of Manuel that Leone’s life takes an unexpected turn when he is wrongly accused of a crime Ma- nuel committed. Carola doesn’t defend him, leaving Leone no choice but to take the blame. As a result, he is sentenced to community service. During this time, Leone reconnects with Meda, a homeless man he had met before and who becomes his confidant, and meets Flor, a vibrant and passionate activist. Leone is drawn to Flor, and the two grow closer until Leone experiences sex for the first time with her. The problem is that Flor doesn’t want a committed relationship. Just when Flor seems ready to open her heart to Leone, Carola reappears, complicating everything. Will Leone find his happy ending? And can philosophy help him along the way?
