    • Synopsis
    • A lyrical story of impossible. Geologist and poet Michael (Allan Hawco, Republic Of Doyle) travels from Canada to Ireland to study the stunning geological wonder of the Burren. But the most beautiful thing Michael encounters is Cathleen (Sarah Greene, Eden). Although she is about to dedicate her life to the Church, Cathleen is inescapably drawn to Michael. In a community torn between its traditional roots and its aspirations for the future, the blossoming romance between the two is deeply unsettling. Michael's persistence clashes with the townspeople's hostility towards him interfering with her life, and Cathleen must make a choice between the love of a man or the love of God.
