It’s 1949. The Fundación Eva Perón inaugurates one of its most ambitious works: the Ciudad Infantil “Amanda Allen”. Close to the centre of Buenos Aires, this enormous construction, signed by a magnificent architecture, brings to reality the aspirations of Evita for the unprotected childhood. With the Hogares Escuela and the Ciudad Estudiantil “Presidente Juan Perón”, it will develop a vast social system for a political actor that is gaining prominence for the peronism: the children. Nevertheless, the dream will be destroyed a few years later. In 1955 the Army, by a coup d'État, tries to destroy the Evita Foundation and these places have a tragical destiny. Los hijos de Perón narrates this story recovering the voice of all those kids with the aim of becoming a dramatic and human testimony of the social divisions and the power struggles of the last 55 year argentinean history.
