- Over the past three years since the release of the film IN THIS CORNER OF THE WORLD, this documentary film crews conduct more than 100 interviews and followed the daily life of the director, Sunao Katabuchi.
  
  The production process of IN THIS CORNER (AND OTHER CORNERS) OF THE WORLD, stage appearances at theaters all over the world, interaction with fans who come to the theaters, and the days of uncompromising research and study. Through IN THIS CORNER OF THE WORLD, we are able to see the many people living in the "corner" of the world. It is the way of life of Sunao Katabuchi, the director of this film, that he has cherished and confronted each and every one of them.
